The casing head is an important connector between the casing and the wellhead device. It is used for connections between casing strings, between the casing and the blowout preventer, and for support and connection between the wellhead and the oil (gas) well after completion. Its lower end is connected to the surface casing by threads, and the upper end is connected to the wellhead device or blowout preventer by flange or clamp. It supports the weight of subsequent casing strings through the hanger, bears the weight of the blowout preventer, forms a pressure seal between the inner and outer casings, provides an outlet for releasing pressure between casing strings, and allows for special operations related to drilling and production processes.
Square drill pipe plug valve, also known as square drill pipe cock or drill pipe safety valve, allows drilling fluid to flow freely through the valve without pressure drop. This type of valve is used as a drill pipe safety valve, or installed above the square drill pipe to control blowout prevention, or below the square drill pipe to prevent drilling fluid loss when the square drill pipe is removed.
The oil well plug valve is a key device used to control oil well pressure and prevent wellhead blowouts.
The arrow-type check valve uses an arrow-shaped sealing valve core with a streamlined shape and a small obstruction area. It is usually installed between the drill pipe and the drill bit, preventing drilling fluid from flowing back from the bottom of the well. It also prevents high-pressure oil and gas from spraying out of the drill string, serving as an important blowout preventer inside the drill string.
