As a key hub connecting the downhole casing string with surface equipment, it not only supports the weight of all casing strings except the surface casing but also seals the annular space of the casing to prevent pressure cross-flow, ensuring well control safety. During the drilling phase, the casing head provides the installation base for the blowout preventer, and during the oil production period, it transitions to connect the tubing head and Christmas tree.
