Product Description
The casing head is one of the core components of the drilling wellhead device, mainly used to fix the wellhead structure and perform multiple functions.
As a key hub connecting the downhole casing string and surface equipment, it not only supports the weight of all casing strings except the surface casing but also prevents pressure cross-flow by sealing the annular space of the casing, ensuring well control safety. During the drilling phase, the casing head provides the installation base for the blowout preventer, and during the oil production period, it transitions to the connection between the tubing head and the Christmas tree. Additionally, its side outlet function supports supplementary cementing, pressure balancing, and emergency fluid injection, significantly improving cementing quality and operational flexibility.
